Margrit Segesman (1905- 1998) Founder of Gita  International Yoga. She was a privileged Swiss Baroness and, at one time, a fashion model for the House of Dior in France.

After overcoming debilitating health issues she hitchhiked to India and  spent several years lived in a cave in the Himalayas and took learnings with her Guru.

In 1954 at the age of 50, she bought all that she had learnt and migrated to Melbourne to establish the Gita International Yoga Centre. Her story is wondrous and inspirational.
